IECP is an OPD procedure and does not require much of the place for therapy. The room size required for IECP system is 8 Feet X 10 Feet.
Other requirements of IECP equipment include :
- A dedicated IECP room of size of 8 Feet X 10 Feet
- An air conditioner installed in the same room.
- An external area of the size of (2 feet X 3 feet) which can be used for keeping the outdoor unit. ( can be a generator room or a separate tin shed.)
- A small changing area, where patient can change into treatment clothes before IECP.
